[New Song] ayumi hamasaki - Song 4 u

Obviously Ayu doesn't understand the saying of "what happens on Twitter stays on Twitter" (actually there's none like that but that's not the point) because she even has to bring her reli good Twitter language to her song titles! what a sweet =)

Anyway for those who are still lost, Ayu was once again chosen to sing the theme song for the upcoming Tales of Xillia 2 which is titled Song 4 u. Yep you saw that right.

The short version has already been on sale on iTunes for quite some time and I LOVE IT. It will appear on her upcoming mini-album, LOVE, as part of her 15th anniversary celebrations although it won't make that release seem any less like a mess, but hey, a good song is a good song. The only complaint I have is that it's like another progress.

It is like an awesome mash of a generic Ayu song and a generic anime/game theme song, but this one actually reminds me of something that'd appear on I am... or RAINBOW. I'm excited to hear the full song! At least the production this time is on point unlike a certain You & Me *shudders*

[CD Packaging] Superfly - Force (5th Anniversary Edition)

I also received my ginormous copy of the limited 5th anniversary edition of Superfly's latest album, Force!!

Basically the entire album is packaged like a vinyl LP

Upon opening it! The right side houses the 2 CDs of the limited 2CD edition. On the left side there's a slit that has everything else:

A vinyl copy of the album, the lyric booklet and a neat fold-out poster! Too bad there aren't really other pictures to see but I'm fine with it.

So far I've only listened to Force (the song) and I think it's fucking ace. I'll probably listen to the album over the next few days and come up with my review. I also just found out that the album beat out SKE48 on the Oricon Charts and got #1 weekly! Woohoo! Too bad her sales really are declining though, because her first week sales are only 119k. Still doing decent for a female soloist though so I'm happy nonetheless!

[CD Packaging] Perfume - Perfume Global Compilation "LOVE THE WORLD" (CD+DVD)

I received my copy of Perfume's latest compilation album in the mail while I was in China but now I'm back!

I actually just realised that this compilation album is being released under their previous label, Tokuma Japan, so in other words this release is pretty much their last opportunity to milk what used to be one of their top selling acts. Awwwww so sad

Packaging is pretty typical and somewhat pathetic, but it's not like anyone's expecting much with covers looking like that.

I quite enjoy the remixed MY COLOR and Chocolate Disco though, especially MY COLOR's.

Perfume will also be performing right here in Singapore on 24th November and the tickets go on sale this weekend!!! I'm not sure if I'm going to get the VIP Tickets or just general admission ones because I'm broke, but I'm definitely going to see them anyway!

ayumi hamasaki to have another 15 minutes of fame every month for 5 months

As we all know, the queen will be celebrating her 15th anniversary next year and in order to commemorate this glorious milestone of hers, there will be 5 releases on the 8th of each month starting November leading up to April 8th!!! You have 2 months to save up, bitches.

She'll start with a mini-album with a very original title, "LOVE", which is essentially like an old Ayu single because there will be 12 tracks, 3 of which are new original songs Song 4 u, Melody and Missing. The rest are remixes and 4 instrumentals (including You & Me's), so yep.

This release seems like a mess and I'm expecting the covers to have Kana Nishino written all over. This is just avex's lame excuse of not releasing a single because her #1 single streak is just so precious, and they are totally still vying for that #1 album every year record. News Flash: JUJU will be releasing her best album that week, lulz

[New Release] 2NE1 to once again flop in Japan with release of I Love You

I LOVE YOU proved to be a huge hit in Korea, and the girls are bringing it back to Japan with a single release for the Japanese version. How? By releasing this stupid waste of space.

Covers are recycled, fine. But the tracklist is, for lack of better word, a crime against nature, comprising only the song and its instrumental. Oh wow! And why exactly is that priced at 1000 yen? In fact, even the CD+DVD is more expensive than an ayumi hamasaki single of the same format, with the former at a ridiculous 2100 yen. Who is going to buy that shit?

2NE1's career in Japan hasn't been very fantastic because of this horrendously poor marketing. That best album idea was a mess in a mess, and SCREAM would probably have done well if those dumbfucks over at YGEX didn't decide to shoot themselves in their empty skulls by releasing it on the exact same day as the album when both main songs on the single are included in the album.

R.I.P. 2NE1's Japanese career which nobody cares about.

By the way,  I think the Japanese version actually turned out pretty okay. Except for one thing: Dara's part in the beginning which is like... whut? "IchichichunchicunchinuncihinchinWA" lol bitch bye

I LOVE YOU will be released on 19 September 2012.

[New Release] Money-sucking Warner to release ayaka - ayaka's BEST -Ballad Collection-

Just when you thought ayaka's label switch meant that everything would be over between the two parties, Warner Music has decided to contaminate her flawless discography with a money-sucking best album, complete with ayaka's ugly logo which was only used, like, 2 times throughout her career and is anything but iconic. This desperate tactic is just so sad, and Warner is just a blind fuck who has failed to see what happened to Utada The Best and Crystal Kay's LOVE SONG BEST. As if dumping in an unreleased English version of Mikazuki is going to help. My sales prediction for this release? 30k tops.

ayaka's BEST -Ballad Collection- will be released on 26 September 2012.

BIGBANG peel off their bodysuits

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to welcome you for witnessing this moment in Korean history, and the commendable bravery of five men whom we are about to reveal to you. They have shown great courage, willing to no longer put on a fake front and show the world their true selves. They have my respect. Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, BIGBANG!

All five of these brave men suffer from a rare, incurable disease called the fuckingcoldandlooklikeshit disease, also known as shitty music. This unfortunately causes the growth of cold sores all over their body that you don't even know if they are caused by genital herpes. TOP happens to only have these on his eyebrows. Just sayin'.

They have delivered their message perfectly. That we should never put on a mask just for the pursuit of money and fame. We should not appeal to the lowest common taste just to get people to like you by changing ourselves. It is of utmost importance that we stay true to ourselves, whether we have cold sores all over our faces, or whether we may be embarrassed over an F&N endorsement.

These brave souls dare to show their faces to the world, unlike people who only stay behind a computer screen, typing away mean, negative things that hurt the feelings of others... oh wait.
